>Review: Flor Mar Supershine Miracle Color

>Hello everyone =) I just discovered that Flor Mar has come up with this line called “Supershine Miracle Color”. It consists of sparkle polishes, similar to recent Zoyas and Orly Cosmic Collection. There are about 20 colors (?) and I’ve already seen dupes for Orly Out Of This World, Zoya Mimi, Zoya Alegra and China Glaze White Cap.

Here are the 8 colors I’ve bought. They retail for about $1.70 each.
Top, L-R: U14, U18, U01, U15
Bottom, L-R: U11, U05, U28, U08

Here is a comparison of Orly Out Of This World and U18. They looked like dupes in the bottle, they have the same duochrome effect, but U18 is warmer. U18 is magenta sparkle in a black base, and Out Of This World is purple sparkle in a black base. By the way, this one is not the OOTW dupe I was talking about. I didn’t get that one.

This is U01, which I think is a dupe for China Glaze White Cap. It’s golden sparkle in a clear/yellowish base, and it’s great for layering. This is 3 coats and impossible to become opaque on its own, on the right you can see it layered on white.

Quick swatch of the other 5 colors. Sorry I forgot to take a good picture of U28 (lilac). It’s also very sheer on its own, I’m going to layer it over a matching lilac creme.
I really like U08, it’s a true navy sparkle with some purple duochrome and it’s much darker than Orly Lunar Eclipse.
Finally, I layered U15 over a no-name lilac creme, and I love it. I couldn’t really capture the beauty of the combination, think Zoya Danni, but lighter. =)

That was my quick review =) As far as I know, some of you guys can find Flor Mar in your country, and I think this lot is going to be available for you soon =)

Cevahir’e fatura ödemeye gittiğimde kioska bir göz atayım dedim, gerçekten de birkaç gün önce baktığımda olmayan seri bugün oradaydı =) Bu seri yapı itibariyle Zoya ojelerine ve Orly Cosmic koleksiyonuna benziyor. Sanırım 20 civarı (?) renk var ve güzel bir haber size, Zoya Mimi, Zoya Alegra, China Glaze White Cap ve Orly Out Of This World gibi ojelerin aynılarını gördüm =)
Ben şimdilik 8 oje aldım. Oje başına 2.5 TL.
Üst sıra, soldan sağa: U14, U18, U01, U15
Üst sıra, soldan sağa: U11, U05, U28, U08
Öncelikle Orly Out Of This World ve U18’i karşılaştırdım. Şişede çok benziyorlar ama U18 daha sıcak tonda. Bahsettiğim Out Of This World’un aynısı olan oje bu değil bu arada, onu almadım.
Bir sonraki oje U01, ve sanırım China Glaze White Cap’ın aynısı. İçinde altın renkli cam kırıkları olan şeffaf bir oje. Kendi kendine opak olması imkansız gibi bir şey, sağ tarafta beyaz üzerine sürülmüş halini görebilirsiniz.
Sonra diğer beş rengin sürülmüş hali. U28 yani lila olanın resmini çekmeyi unutmuşu, hoş görün.
U08 benim favorim oldu, hem lacivert olması, hem sedefli değil cam kırıklı olması ile gönlümü kazandı. Orly Lunar Eclipse ile kıyaslamak gerekirse ondan daha koyu ve onun gibi mora dönük değil.
Son olarak U15’i leylak rengi krem ojenin üzerine sürdüm. Çok güzel oldu, her ne kadar makineyle yakalayamasam da. Zoya Danni’yi düşünün ama onun daha açık rengi =)
Bugünlük benden bu kadar, umarım bilgilendirici olmuştur =)

>From The Vault: Snow Cap

>Hello everyone! This manicure is back from summer, for some reason I never published it here, maybe I thought it was too frosty for summer. Today I saw that it was being used here without permission, under the name “Nail Polish Trend 2011”. Of course I was annoyed because the picture was cropped to hide my watermark and there was no source and no credit was given, but at least I remembered that I hadn’t put up this manicure here, so it’s not all bad =)
I used Golden Rose Paris polish in silver. Sorry, I lost that bottle and I can’t give you the number, but it’s a foil-like, neutral silver and I’m sure you’ll be able to spot it. The tips were freehanded with white creme polish. They remind me of caps of snow on mountains, hence the title.

It’s simple but pretty, I like it =)

Herkese merhaba =) Bu manikür aslında geçtiğimiz yazdan kalma, o aralar bana çok kış manikürü gibi görünmüştü, bu yüzden yayınlamamıştım. Sonra da unuttum, ta ki burada “2011 Oje Trendleri” adı altında kullanıldığını görene kadar. Tabi ki izin alınmadan kullanılmış, blogun ismi özenle kesilmiş ve hiçbir kaynak belirtilmemiş. Mesaj gönderdim ama faydası olur mu bilmiyorum. En azından unuttuğum bu manikürü hatırlayıp buraya koymuş oldum, %100 can sıkıcı değil yani =)
Golden Rose Paris gümüş rengi folyo görünümlü ojeyi kullanmıştım. Şişeyi kaybettiğim için numarasını size veremiyorum, ama tam bir gümüş rengi ve bu seride buna yakın renk yok, rahatlıkla gözünüze çarpacaktır. Tırnak uçlarını ise kireç beyazı oje ile boyadım. Bana dağ tepelerinde biriken karı hatırlattı beyaz kısımlar, hayal gücüm fazla çalışıyor galiba =)
Basit bir manikür ama krem beyaz ile gümüş folyo uyumlu oldu, kış için fikir arıyorsanız sade ama şık olabilir =)

>NOTD: Pseudo Lace Nails

>When I first saw this lace manicure at Beutopia, I was amazed how simple it was to recreate a lace look that doesn’t involve actual lace =) She used a nude polish, and two konad images layered on it, the fishnet image from plate m57 and the lace image from m71.
For this manicure I used 2 coats of a pinkish nude polish by Woo, a Turkish brand. Then I stamped the images from m71 and m57 on top of each other, in black.

I think this will look great over grey, red and taupe =)

Ben de iki kat Woo #666 üzerine m71 ve m57 desenlerini konad’ın siyah ojesiyle damgaladım.
Bence siyah, gri ve kahverengi üzerine de çok şık durabilir =)

Guys, I’m very excited to show you these polishes made of awesome! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw this post by Betul’s Dreams, holographic polishes by a Turkish brand that look almost like China Glaze Kaleidoscope polishes! I immediately wanted to know where I can get them, and exactly how many holo polishes from Catherine Arley were in existence. I found a Turkish seller that sold CA polishes, and I asked her if she carried any holographic polishes from that line. She told me they were 20 holographic polishes from Catherine Arley in total, so I ordered the whole line! =) I got them for about $1.30 each. Today I received the lot, and I’m beyond myself with excitement, finally holographic polishes with a holo effect so strong that my camera can capture!
The polishes are 0.5 fl. oz. (14 ml), and they’re hypoallergenic and Big 3 Free.
This is going to be a very long post with loads of pictures, but you’re free to TL;DR =)
NOTE: Before going on with the bottle pics & swatches, I have to tell you guys that I would really love to help my international friends to get their hands on these polishes, but unfortunately, Turkish Post no longer accepts any sort of liquid cosmetics, including nail polish. We can receive polishes, but we can’t send them abroad; because they say there is risk of breakage and leakage. That’s the reason I can’t answer to any swap or help request, because I’m unable to do so. I hope you understand =)

First of all, here are the bottle pictures, with my trying-to-be-accurate descriptions =)

• #673: Dark reddish purple with a subtle holo effect.
• #672: Mauve with a fuchsia flash, subtle holo effect.
• #677: Cranberry red with a very subtle holo effect. This one disappointed me a bit, but it’s still holo, definitely not plain. Maybe it will come alive under the sun.
• #800: Strawberry red with a strong holo effect. This is one of my favorites. Although I own some holographic polishes, there is nothing like this in my stash.

• #666: Cool dark pink with a moderate holo effect.
• #670: Pale cool pink with a strong holo effect.
• #804: Warm pink with a cool pink flash, moderate holo effect.
• #675: Warm pink with a strong holo effect.

• #669: Golden beige with a strong holo effect.
• #668: Tan with a subtle holo effect.
• #806: Orange with a subtle holo effect. This one has a bad consistency, I hope I can tame it. It has got some metallic mixed inside, which dulls the holo effect a bit.
• #802: Amber with a strong holo effect. Adorable. Just amazing. Another favorite.

• #674: Baby blue with a strong holo effect. This one is amazing! =)
• #803: Chartreuse with a strong holo effect. I love this, I own nothing like this either.
• #801: Bright lime green with a moderate holo effect. The holo is actually strong in this one, but the color is so bright, it hardly shows.
• #807: Gold with no holo effect. This one is disastrous. It’s gold metallic with holo pieces thrown inside, which never show. The consistency is horrible, too. No need to say, my least favorite =)

• #805: Black with moderate holo effect. Oh my God, somebody hold me. Maybe not crazy holographic, but it’s definitely there. Another favorite =)
• #667: Charcoal grey with strong holo effect.
• #676: Silver with strong holo effect. Or should I say “crazy”? This is what I have on my nails right now.
• #671: Last but not least, taupe-leaning silver with a blue flash, strong holo effect. Interesting polish, I really like it.

I know you want to see some swatches, so I swatched everything on a nail wheel. All two coats, they cover very well. Please excuse the messy swatching =) In numerical order:

Finally, here is #676 swatched on my nails, two coats, no basecoat, no topcoat:

Doesn’t it look like wrapping paper? Or rainbows and butterflies? Can you hear the angels sing like I do? Excuse my excitement, I just can’t get over the fact that I have some freaking true holographic polishes! =D Now I just need the Tronica Collection, and that’s all! =P

Tanesi 2 TL, ben de hepsini satın aldım. Kargo bugün elime geçti ve inanılmaz mutlu oldum, çünkü Booty ojelerden farklı olarak holografik etki çok daha kuvvetli, kameralarım hiç zorlanmadan yakalıyor, hele bir de tırnağınızda görseniz, mükemmel =)
Ojeler 14 ml, hipoalerjenik ve Formaldehit, Toluen, Dibutil Pitalen içermiyor.

NOT: Yurt dışında yaşayan arkadaşlarım, sizlere bazen beğendiğiniz ojeleri gönderme konusunda yardım etmeyi çok istiyorum. • #677: Koyu kırmızı, holo etkisi oldukça az, ama yok değil. Güneş altında daha belirgin olacağına inanıyorum.
• #800: Çilek kırmızısı, holo etkisi güçlü. Favorilerimden biri.

Pembeler:

• #666: Soğuk tonlu koyu pembe, holo etkisi orta karar.
• #670: Solgun pembe, holo etkisi güçlü.
• #804: Sıcak pembe, pembe flaş etkisi var. Holo etkisi orta karar.
• #675: Sıcak pembe, holo etkisi güçlü.

Turuncular:

• #669: Altın rengine çalan bej, holo etkisi güçlü.
• #668: Bu renge ne denir, koyu ten rengi mi? Holo etkisi az.
• #806: Turuncu, holo etkisi az. Bu ojenin yapısı çok akışkan, aynı zamanda yoğun. Umarım adam edebilirim. Sanırım biraz metalik etki var içinde, bu da holo görüntüsünü biraz azaltıyor.
• #802: Taba rengi. Hasta oldum buna. Favorilerimden.

Mavi ve Yeşiller:

• #674: Bebek mavisi, holo etkisi güçlü. Şahane gözüküyor =)
• #803: Sarıya bakan koyu yeşil, holo etkisi güçlü. Buna da bayıldım.
• #801: Parlak lim yeşili, holo etkisi orta karar. Aslında güçlü ama renk o kadar parlak ki, fazla anlaşılmıyor.
• #807: Altın rengi, holo etkisi yok. Bu oje tam bir hayal kırıklığıydı. Altın rengi metalik, içinde holo parçacıklar var eminim ama hiçbir etkisi yok ojeye. Kıvamından hiç bahsetmeyeyim. Tek beklentimi karşılamayan oje buydu =)

Griler:

• #805: Siyah, holo etkisi orta karar. Aman Allahım, çok çok güzel. Çok istiyordum siyah holografi oje. Belki etki çok güçlü değil, ama kesinlikle belli oluyor, bu yüzden favorilerimden =)
• #667: Kurşuni gri, holo etkisi güçlü.
• #676: Gümüş rengi, holo etkisi güçlü. Yoksa holo etkisi deli gibi mi demeliydim? Tırnağımda bu var şu anda.
• #671: Son olarak, bej rengine çalan gümüş, mavi flaş etkisine sahip, holo etkisi güçlü. Çok ilginç bir oje, ben çok beğendim.

Tüm ojeleri tırnak çemberine sürdüm, hepsi iki kat, numara sırasına göre gidiyor. Son olarak tırnaklarımda #676 gümüş rengini görebilirsiniz, altında baz yok, üstünde cila da yok, iki kat sürdüm. Janjanlı paket kağıtlarına benziyor, değil mi? =)

>NOTD: I Come Bearing Gifts!

>It’s 4 hours past the last day of Christmas, and here is my manicure =)
First I wanted to draw a Christmas tree on my ring finger and decorate it with various things, but then I decided that covering all my nails with gift wrappings would be a better idea. So here I present my gifts for you!

I’m going to explain all nails one-by-one, cookies for everyone who reads till the end =)

Thumb: Alix Avien #231 is the base, I stamped the design from bm20 in black, drew a dark green ribbon with acrylic paint and put a purple rhinestone in the middle.
Index: Pastel #32 is the base, I stamped the houndstooth design from bm19 with Konad Wine Red, drew a silver ribbon with Alix Avien #231 and put a light green rhinestone in the middle.
Middle: Orly Glitz & Glamour is the base, I stamped the stars design from bm20 with China Glaze 2030, drew a red ribbon with acrylic paint and put a gold rhinestone in the middle.
Ring: Finger Paints Evergreen Dream (Oh my God, gorgeous!) is the base, I stamped the stripes design from bm20 with Avon Peppermint Leaf, drew a green ribbon using acrylic paint and put a red rhinestone in the middle.
Pinky: Chanel Gondola is the base, I stamped the polka dot design from bm19 with Golden Rose Nail Art #108, drew a white ribbon with acrylic paint and put a clear rhinestone in the middle.
Phew, that was a lot of talking =) I hope you enjoyed my tiny gifts!

Önce yüzük parmağıma bir çam ağacı çizip üzerini çeşitli şeylerle süslemeyi düşünmüştüm, ama sonra tırnaklarımı paketlenmiş hediyelere benzetmenin daha güzel bir fikir olacağına karar verdim. İşte benim size minik hediyelerim!

Baş parmak: Tabanda Alix Avien #231 var, bm20 diskindeki deseni siyah ile damgaladım, akrilik boyayla koyu yeşil kurdele çizdim ve ortaya mor bir taş koydum.
İşaret parmağı: Tabanda Pastel #32 var, bm19 diskindeki deseni Konad Wine Red ile damgaladım, Alix Avien #231 ile gümüş rengi kurdele çizdim ve ortaya açık yeşil bir taş koydum.
Orta parmak: Tabanda Orly Glitz & Glamour var, bm20 diskindeki yıldız desenini China Glaze 2030 ile damgaladım, akrilik boyayla kırmızı kurdele çizdim ve ortaya sarı bir taş koydum.
Yüzük parmağı: Tabanda Finger Paints Evergreen Dream var (Muhteşem bir renk.), bm20 diskindeki çizgili deseni Avon Peppermint Leaf ile damgaladım, akrilik boyayla yeşil kurdele çizdim ve ortaya kırmızı bir taş koydum.
Serçe parmak: Tabanda Chanel Gondola var, bm19 diskindeki puantiye desenini Golden Rose Nail Art #108 ile damgaladım, akrilik boyayla beyaz kurdele çizdim ve ortaya renksiz bir taş koydum.
Anlatması ne kadar uzun sürdü =) Umarım minik hediyelerim hoşunuza gitmiştir =)

>Review: Chanel’s Turkish Twins

>Hello guys =) I’m happy to inform that Turkish nail polish brands are finally catching up with the latest trends =) After Sevilla, Pastel has come up with four different shades for the winter, and two of them are mimicking the latest Chanel colors, Paradoxal and Khaki Brun.
Here is Pastel #25, also called Khaki, as it stands on the label. Although I don’t have it to compare, I’m about 100% positive that this is meant to be a dupe for Chanel Khaki Brun. It’s a medium brown creme with a distinct hint of green. It’s sort of a drab color, and the best description I found was Field Drab. I adore these murky, dirty, ugly colors on my nails =)

This is two coats, and dried pretty fast & glossy. Great job, Pastel! After seeing lots of taupes last year, this is feels pretty refreshing =)
Another color Pastel released is Pastel #69, a greyed-out taupe with purple shimmer. You’re probably familiar with this description from Chanel Paradoxal. I don’t have this polish swatched on my nails, but here are bottle & nail wheel comparison pictures:

As you can see, Pastel #69 has a similar base with Barry M Dusky Mauve (Known as a dead-on dupe for Paradoxal) but it’s the amount of purple shimmer that makes a difference, because the overall look is more purple. Sevilla #144 (swatched here) has a warmer base color and a warmer shimmer color, but the same amount of shimmer with Dusky Mauve. The overall look is warmer than Dusky Mauve (Paradoxal).

Finally, I have a polish from Sevilla, which is supposed to be a dupe for Chanel Khaki Vert. Sevilla #145 is a light army green, or as Wikipedia calls it, Asparagus Green.

This one is pretty pigmented and creamy, good to go in 2 coats and it also dried very fast.
Again, I don’t have the original Khaki Vert to compare, because they were sold here for a crazy $50 here! I feel so lucky that Turkish brands are trying to make dupes for these “trendy” colors =)

Merhaba =) Türk oje markaları beni acayip şaşırtmaya başladı, trendleri yakalamak uğruna normalde asla beklemeyeceğim renkler sürüyorlar piyasaya =) Sevilla’dan sonra, Pastel 4 adet kış rengi çıkartmış, ve bunlardan iki tanesi meşhur Chanel renkleri olan Paradoxal ve Khaki Brun’ün benzeri.
İşte Pastel #25, diğer adıyla Khaki (etiketinde öyle yazıyor). Bende Khaki Brun olmadığı için kıyaslayamıyorum ama, bence bu renk onun çok benzeri olacak şekilde üretilmiş. Rengi tarif etmek gerekirse, orta tonda bir kahverengi, ama içinde bariz bir yeşil tonu var. Bu tarz kirli hatta çirkin görünen renklere bayılıyorum tırnaklarda =) Asker yeşilleri, zeytin yeşilleri ojede çok güzel duruyor.
İki kat sürdüm, çabuk ve parlak kurudu. Pastel’e helal olsun valla =) Geçen sene bir sürü köstebek rengi gördükten sonra bu renk ilaç gibi geldi.
Pastel’in çıkardığı diğer bir renk de Pastel #69; griye bakan bir köstebek rengi, içinde mor ışıltılar var. Büyük ihtimalle bu size birşey çağrıştırmıştır, Chanel’in meşhur Paradoxal rengi mesela =) Bu ojeyi tırnaklarıma sürmedim ama bazı karşılaştırma resimleri koyuyorum.
Görebileceğiniz gibi Pastel #69 baz olarak Barry M Dusky Mauve gibi, ama içindeki mor ışıltı daha fazla olduğu için daha mor tonlu duruyor. Sevilla #144 ise hem baz rengi olarak hem ışıltı rengi olarak daha sıcak tonlu.
Son olarak Sevilla’nın başka bir ojesi, Sevilla #145, Chanel Khaki Vert’in aynısı olarak üretilmiş. Açık asker yeşili diyebiliriz bu renk için. Pigmentli bir oje, neredeyse tek katta opak olacaktı ve hızlı kurudu. Tabi ki burada tanesi 75 TL’den satıldığı için orijinali bende yok, ama Türk oje markaları gaza gelip art arda bu trend renkleri çıkardığı için çok şanslı sayıyorum kendimi =)
Umarım bu uzuuun yazı sizi sıkmamış, fikir edinmenize yardımcı olmuştur!

>Review: Alix Avien Nail Deco Black & Blue

>Today I’m going to review two of the Alix Avien Nail Deco polishes, which crackle when layered on top of another polish. I’ve got two colors, black and blue. There is also a white and a pink one, but white somehow looked too chalky for my taste, and I thought it was pretty limited what I can do with a pink crackle polish. Maybe I’ll go and get them sometime.

These polishes retail for about $3.5, and they don’t really “crackle”, they more of “shatter” like OPI Black Shatter or Barry M Instant Nail Effect. If you apply a very thin coat, the pattern will look finer, with smaller individual pieces; and as the coat you apply gets thicker, you will have deeper cracks and bigger pieces on your nail. I prefer to apply a moderately thick coat.

Pinky to index: Black over Essie Lilacism (left matte), Blue over Orly Mint Mojito (left matte), Black over Essie Flirt (applied topcoat) and Blue over China Glaze Sun Worshipper (applied topcoat). I personally prefer the look matte, but when left like that, the crackled parts seem to peel easily. The overall effect looks pretty nice when glossy, too. If you only need it matte, maybe you can run over it with a glossy topcoat first, then again with a matte one.
I like blue over greens, yellows and oranges; and black over everything, from reds to purples to gold and silver.
I think everyone needs at least one crackle polish, and I prefer black. It looks really nice and rock’n roll on short nails with silver chrome polish on! =) It’s also a great alternative if you’re really bored of your manicure and don’t have time to change it. Crackle is the new black! =)

Bugün Alix Avien Nail Deco ojelerinden mavi ve siyah olanlarını göstereceğim. Bildiğiniz gibi bu ojeler, başka bir ojenin üzerine sürüldüğü zaman kırılmaya başlıyorlar. Dört renk olarak piyasaya sürüldüler, ancak bende şu an iki tanesi var, siyah ve mavi. Beyaz ve pembesi de var, ama beyaz bana biraz kireç gibi geldi, pembeyle ise yapılabilecek renk kombinasyonlarının biraz sınırlı olduğunu düşündüm. Onları da artık daha sonra alırım.
Bu ojelerin satış fiyatı 4,95 TL. Almak istiyorsanız şu an için Taksim Erkul Kozmetik’de bulabilirsiniz. Bence bu ojeler “çatlamaktan” ziyada “kırılıyor”, yani OPI Black Shatter ya da Barry M Instant Nail Effect gibi. Çok ince bir kat sürünce desen de ince yapılı, küçük ve bol parçalı oluyor; sürdüğünüz kat kalınlaştıkça ise daha büyük parçalı, daha az kırıkları olan bir desen oluşuyor. Ben orta kalınlıkta bir kat uygulamayı tercih ediyorum.
Serçe parmaktan işaret parmağa doğru: Siyah Nail Deco Essie Lilacism üzerine (mat bıraktım), Mavi Nail Deco Orly Mint Mojito üzerine (mat bıraktım), Siyah Nail Deco Essie Flirt üzerine (cila sürdüm) ve Mavi Nail Deco China Glaze Sun Worshipper üzerine (cila sürdüm). Doğal sürülmüş hali mat olarak kuruyor, ben de bu görünümü seviyorum. Ama bu şekilde bırakınca kırılan parçalar biraz çabuk soyuluyor. Genel olarak cila sürülünce de güzel duruyor ama illa ki mat olsun istiyorsanız, önce korumak için normal cila sürüp sonra mat cila sürmeyi deneyebilirsiniz.
Mavi olanı sarı, yeşil turuncu gibi renklerin üzerinde beğeniyorum; siyah olan ise her renkle yakışıyor, özellikle kırmızı, mor, gümüş, altın gibi renklerle.
Bence herkesin en azından bir tane kırılan ojesi olmalı, tek bir tane alayım diyorsanız siyah alın. Kısa, gümüş rengi tırnağın üzerine siyah sürünce Rock’n Roll bir görünüm oluşuyor =) Ayrıca ojenizden sıkıldıysanız ve silmeye vakit yoksa üzerine bir kat sürüp görünümü tamamen değiştirebilirsiniz. =)

>NOTD: Shattered Chameleon

>Today I have some awesome polishes to show you =) Too bad my nails are ridiculously short. After taking these pictures, I’ve shortened them even more to make them square & even. My left middle nail was torn so badly, that it had 2 different layers on the tip. It finally past the free edge, so I could shorten it without there is blood =)

Turkish brand Alix Avien has recently released Nail Deco polishes, which crackle like OPI Black Shatter =) I would call them dupes, because they crackle the exact same way. There are four colors; black, pink, dark blue and white.
I’ve also discovered a local brand polish, called Elite. I got #407, which looked like a regular sheer polish with pink flash at first sight. But then I discovered it’s a gorgeous blue/purple/pink multichrome, a true chameleon. I layered 2 coats over black and here is what I got:

Awesomeness. This camera captured the pink and purple better, but the other cam captured mostly the blue in it. I’m thinking about layering it over Orly Lunar Eclipse, to get the bottle look.

Here is my thumb from another angle. The blue is more visible here.
Finally I layered a moderately thick coat of Alix Avien Nail Deco in Black.

I know the picture quality is bad, but you get the idea. I love how blue/purple/pink multichrome shows through the shattered black polish!

Bugün sizlere göstereceğim iki muhteşem ojem var =) Tırnaklarımın komik derecede kısa olması çok kötü oldu tabi. Bu resimleri çektikten sonra daha da kısalttım tırnaklarımı, en azından aynı boya gelmiş oldular. Sol elimin orta tırnağı öyle bir kırılmıştı ki, iki farklı tabaka vardı bir haftadır tırnağımda. En sonunda ucundan biraz uzadı da törpüleyebildim =)
Alix Avien Nail Deco ojeleri sürdü piyasaya, bilmeyen kaldı mı bilmiyorum. OPI Black Shatter’ın aynısı diyebilirim siyah için, çünkü tamamen aynı görünümde oluyorlar çatlayınca. Dört renk var; siyah, lacivert, pembe ve beyaz. İlginizi çekiyorsa Taksim Erkul Kozmetik’ten alabilirsiniz.
Ayrıca Elite diye bir oje markasının #407 no’lu ojesini keşfettim. Şişede pembe sedefli şeffaf oje gibi duruyordu, ama iyi ki kapağını açıp bir bakmışım. Mavi/mor/pembe yanardöner renklere sahip bir oje, başka bir rengin üzerine sürdüğünüzde bakmaya doyamıyorsunuz. Siyah üzerine 2 kat sürdüm ben de, bakın nasıl oldu:
Muhteşem bir oje. Bu kamera daha çok mavi ve moru yakaladı, diğer kamera ise çoğunlukla maviyi. Bunu Orly Lunar Eclipse üzerine sürmeyi düşünüyorum, şişede gözüken rengi tam olarak yakalayabilmek için.
Bu da baş parmağım, başka bir açıdan. Mavi burada daha belirgin.
Son olarak, bu rengin üzerine orta kalınlıkta Alix Avien Nail Deco Siyah sürdüm.
Biliyorum resim kalitesi pek iyi değil, ama bir fikir veriyor. Yanardöner mavi/mor/pembe siyah ojenin çatlakları arasından çok güzel gözüküyor, beğendim!

>NOTD: Stellare Notte

>Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I feel uninspired, so I decided to give myself a little break & stop being harsh on myself. I hate those days, when none of the 450 polishes you own seems to be working out!
Today’s manicure is Borghese Stellare Notte, which is a gift from my friend Elizabeth. Thank you so much for all the trouble you went through while collecting all the things I wanted from the States, you made me so happy =)
Borghese Stellare Notte is a duochrome metallic polish. It looks like oil slick in the bottle, but what transfers on the nail is a strong purple & teal duochrome. In most lights I saw blue and teal, but in my lightbox I could only capture the purple, sorry for that. My pictures are totally not doing any justice to this duochrome goodness, that’s why I will dedicate another post to Stellare Notte in the future.

The design is from plate bm03, and the stamping polish is Golden Rose Nail Art #107. I also used lilac rhinestones.
I’m sorry this post is really short, it’s because I have a headache. But I have very nice polishes to show you, stay tuned =)

Son günlerde biraz ihmal ettim burayı, farkındayım. Biraz ilham gerekiyor belki de. 450 tane ojem var ama öyle bir gün oluyor ki, bir şekilde sürdüğüm ojeyi yakıştıramıyorum ya da direk beceremiyorum =) Bu yüzden bir süre kendime acımasız davrranmamaya, mükemmeliyetçi olmamaya karar verdim.
Borghese Stellare Notte, bana arkadaşım Elizabeth‘in hediyesi. Şişede sanki suyun üzerindeki petrol tabakası gibi, gökkuşağının tüm renkleri gözüküyor neredeyse. Tırnakta ise, mor/petrol mavisi arası duran, yanardöner, metalik bir oje. Bu ojenin internette gördüğüm çoğu resminde petrol mavisi baskın, ben de tırnakta çoğunlukta o rengi gördüm ama ne hikmetse kameramla sadece mor halini yakalayabildim.
Desen Bundle Monster bm03 diskinden, desen ojesi ise Golden Rose Nail Art #107. Ayrıca lila taşlar kullandım.
Bugün böyle kısa kısa yazdım çünkü başım ağrıyor. Ama sizlere gösterecek çok güzel ojelerim var, beklemede kalın =)

>NOTD: Going Indigo

>Rimmel Blue My Mind is the perfect indigo polish. The consistency is between jelly and cream, it’s opaque in two coats and dries very fast and glossy. The color is exactly like the description of Indigo, a cross between blue and purple.
My new camera is very good with problem colors. As you know, most cameras can’t truly capture colors which are a cross between blue/green, blue/purple and red/pink. Most of the time, the pictures come out closer to the cooler one of those both colors. For example China Glaze Four Leaf Clover is a very bright Kelly green, but most pictures suggest it’s a bright turquoise. The camera I’m using can capture the color of Four Leaf Clover perfectly, but it still fails to capture the true indigo. I think it’s the most problematic shade to capture with a camera =) The color is tweaked a bit to resemble how it looks IRL.

The pattern is from disk bm16, and the stamping polish is Golden Rose Nail Art #107. That nail art polish is such an opaque, shiny, foily silver; never had a silver stamping polish that looks so mirror-like! It’s amazing, if you can find this line, don’t skip on the metallic shades. Other than silver there is a gold, bronze and a brown. They all work great with konad.

Rimmel Blue My Mind, jel ve krem arasında yapıya sahip bir oje. Rengi indigo, yani çivit mavisi. İki katta opak oldu ve çok çabuk kurudu.
Kameralar genellikle mavi/yeşil, mavi/mor, kırmızı/pembe arasındaki geçiş renklerini iyi yakalayamıyor. Bu renklerden soğuk olanına dönük çıkıyor resimlerde renkler. Benim kameram genellikle yeşilleri, mercan renklerini çok iyi yakalıyor ama bu renkte sınıfta kaldı =) Her kamera gibi maviye dönük çıktı resimlerde, ben de gerçek haline benzesin diye biraz oynadım rengiyle.
Desen bm16 diskinden, damga için Golden Rose Nail Art #107 ojesini kullandım. Kullandığım en ayna gibi metalik oje herhalde. İnanılmaz opak bir oje ve konad’la çok rahat kullanılır. Alix Avien de buna benzer bir oje çıkarmış, daha rastlamadım ama. Bu seriyi görürseniz, simli hariç bütün hepsiyle konad yapılıyor, özellikle metalik olanlarla. Bu hariç altın, bronz ve kahverengi var, ben hepsini denedim, konad ile çok uyumlular.
