>NOTD: Miu Miu

>Tell me, who is not in love with these shoes? I personally can’t picture myself wearing them, but that doesn’t change the fact I need them in my life =D

I’m talking about the Miu Miu Swallow Pumps. The Swallow pattern is so lovely, and since I won’t be owning the shoes, I thought of drawing the pattern on my nails.
I started with a coat of Eyeko Petite Polish, to give the moon a bare look. Then I applied Essie Miss Matched to the upper part of the nail, leaving the moon blank. Essie Miss Matched is from Essie Summer 2010 Collection, and in my opinion, it didn’t get the love it deserved. It’s a beautiful, pale, dusty pink; which quickly becomes opaque.
I covered the moon with tear-shaped, clear rhinestones. Then I painted the swallows with a tiny brush and black acrylic paint. Finished with topcoat.

I know it doesn’t show on first two pictures, but the moons are actually bare, not pink. It shows a bit better on the last picture.

Miu Miu kırlangıç desenli ayakkabılardan bahsediyorum. Miu Miu’nun bu sene herşeyde kullandığı kırlangıç deseni çok güzel değil mi? Ben de ayakkabıya sahip olamayacağıma göre, bari tırnaklarıma çizeyim dedim.
Önce tırnaklarımın alt kısımlarını boş bırakacağım için, bir kat Eyeko Petite Polish sürdüm. Sonra üst kısımlara opak olana kadar Essie Miss Matched sürdüm. Essie Miss Matched, Essie’nin 2010 Yaz koleksiyonundan, ve bence hakettiği kadar ilgi görmemiş bir oje. Ben hiç aklımda yokken tırnağımın ucunda denedim ve almaya karar verdim; çok tatlı, hem uçuk hem soluk bir pembe. Üstelik jel yapıda olmasına rağmen çabuk opak oluyor.
Tırnağın alt kısmını mekik şeklindeki taşlarla kapladıktan sona, kırlangıçları ince bir fırça yardımıyla, siyah akrilik boyayla boyadım. Son olarak cila sürdüm.
Biliyorum ilk iki resimde pek belli olmuyor ama, tırnak dipleriyle tırnağın geri kalanı farklı renk. Son resimde daha iyi anlaşılıyor.
Umarım Miu Miu tırnaklarım hoşunuza gitmiştir! =)

>NOTD: Happy Anniversary

>Today is the sixth anniversary of me and my boyfriend =) We first met each other six years ago on August 6th, and in less than 24 hours we were holding hands. It was love at first sight =) To me, he’s the nicest, the funniest, the most thoughtful guy on earth.
I love him and hope that we will spend the rest of our lives with each other =)
The manicure is very basic, I used Eyeko Lilac Polish as a base, then I stamped our initials in Flor Mar Supershine #14 (plate m17), finally used the pink heart rhinestone by Essence on my middle nail.

Bu manikur cok sade oldu, en altta Eyeko Lilac Polish kullandim, ondan sonra adimizin bas harflerini Flor Mar Supershine #14 ile damgaladim (m17 diskinde harfleri bulabilirsiniz), son olarak orta parmagimin tirnagina Essence tirnak suslerinden kalp seklinde bir tas yapistirdim.

>Review: Eyeko Nail Polishes – Vampira Polish & Vampire Nails

>Last but not least, here I have Vampira Polish by Eyeko.

Vampira Polish is a black polish with red glitter, along China Glaze Lubu Heels, Milani Garnet Gem, Piggy Polish Midnight Fireflies, RBL Black Russian, etc. I only have China Glaze Lubu Heels to compare, but I’m sure they all look pretty much the same.

Here is Vampira compared to Lubu Heels:

Both are 3 coats, but Vampira was almost opaque in one, whereas Lubu was only opaque after the third coat. Lubu Heels has a lighter base, and the red glitter is very tiny. The glitter is a little bigger in Vampira, but still very dense. The base is darker, too, and it easily gets opaque. I must say I prefer Vampira Polish, because it requires less coats.

The only problem with Vampira Polish was the brush. It had too many stray hairs, and I had to trim those hairs to make the brush usable. But I’m sure this is just my bad luck, because the other brushes of Eyeko were just fine.
Vampira Polish is perfect for those who have missed out on the polishes I’ve mentioned above, or who are looking for that extra “oomph!” in a vampy polish.

Here is the manicure I would have done for PHD‘s Vampire Challenge for last week, if I wasn’t busy with surgery and stuff. Basic vampy nails with blood splatter all over. Yum. Stamped with m21 in white, then layered with sheer red polish (Flor Mar #321).

So, that rounds up the Eyeko review. I hope you found them helpful & enjoyed the pictures =)

Son olarak, Eyeko Vampira Polish’i tanıtacağım.
Vampira Polish, içinde kırmızı simler olan siyah bir oje. Son yıllarda çıkan birçok kırmızı simli siyah ojeye benzemekle beraber, opaklığı, pürüzsüze yakın yüzeye sahip olması, simlerinin daha göze çarpan yapıda olması çok hoşuma gitti. China Glaze Lubu Heels en az üç katta opak olurken, Vampira düzgün sürülürse tek katta bile opak olabiliyor. Bu yüzden Vampira’yı tercih ederim.
Tek hoşuma gitmeyen kısmı fırçasının dağınıklığı oldu, ben de ayrık duran kılları kesmek zorunda kaldım. Ama büyük ihtimalle bu benim şanssızlığım, çünkü diğer Eyeko fırçalarında böyle bir problem yaşamadım.
Eğer koyu renk ojelerden hoşlanıyorsanız, muhteşem duran kırmızı simleriyle Vampira size göre.
Bu manikürü PHD‘nin Vampir yarışması için yaptım. Üzerine kırmızı kan sıçramış bordo tırnaklar. Bunu yapmak için, Vampira üzerine beyazla m21’deki deseni uyguladim, sonra üzerinden bir kat Flor Mar #321 ile geçtim.

>Hello guys =) The Eyeko review continues with Tea Rose Polish.

Tea Rose Polish is a cool toned rose. According to Wikipedia, it might be more of a Thulian Pink than a Tea Rose. The polish is very pigmented, it only required one coat, but I did two because it’s a bit streaky. The application is on the thicker side, but fine. May require a bit thinning, but other than that, it’s a great creme with butter-like consistency.

Then I compared Tea Rose Polish to the other similar rosy polishes I own:

L-R: Gabrini #389, China Glaze Fifth Avenue, Orly Two-Hour Lunch, Eyeko Tea Rose Polish.

Eyeko is the coolest of the bunch. It has a distinct blue undertone, whereas the other three are more flesh-toned. Orly is the brightest, and China Glaze Fifth Avenue is the darkest. Although they look more similar in the bottles, on the nails they are very different. I don’t own any dupes for Eyeko Tea Rose Polish.

Although this is not a very interesting or unique color, it’s very work appropriate, yet very sweet and cute. It will work well with short and long nails. I love that it has a blue undertone, and it’s more pronounced on the nail than in the bottle.
The drying time was very fast, and the brush was fine, too. If you like your nail polish subtle or looking for a nice, work appropriate pink, you can definitely give this one a try.

Tea Rose Polish, soğuk tonlarda bir gül kurusu. Oldukça pigmentli ve neredeyse tek katta opak oluyor. Biraz kalın bir yapıya sahip olduğu için yüzeyinde dalgalar oluşabiliyor, bu nedenle iki kat sürünce daha düzgün oldu. Bir süre sonra içine oje incelticisi damlatmak gerekebilir.
Tea Rose Polish’i sahip olduğum diğer gül kurusu tonlarıyla kıyasladım. Eyeko aralarında en soğuk alt tona sahip olanı. Diğer renklerin alt tonu ise sıcak.
Çok eşi benzeri bulunmaz bir renk değil ama, günlük hayat ve profesyonel hayat için çok uygun. Aynı zamanda hem uzun, hem kısa tırnaklarda çok güzel duruyor. Soğuk sayılabilecek bir renk olması hoşuma gitti, çünkü gül kurusu ojeler genelde daha sıcak tonlu oluyor. Hızlı kuruyan ve güzel bir fırçaya sahip bir oje. Eğer günlük hayatta kullanmak için uygun, fazla göze batmayan, ama sevimli bir renk arıyorsanız, Tea Rose Polish size göre.

Petite Polish is a sheer pink, specially made for French manicures and sheer lovers. I used two coats, and it gave my nails a nice pinkish blush. This color is perfect for neat French nails. I didn’t have a nice pink French manicure base like this one, so no comparison pictures this time. Although I didn’t try it out, I think this might be opaque in 3 or 4 coats.

I did a basic French manicure using Petite Polish and white. I used Nailene Bedazzled Super Star decals on my rings and thumbs. I love how neat and clean my nails look! I guess I should do French more often 😉

Petite Polish is really nice if you want a blushing pink as a French base, or if you are a sheer pink/nude lover. I can’t say I’m a sheer lover, but I think this polish makes the nails look chic and elegant. I must say I like this more than OPI Bubble Bath =) Although it’s not a unique polish, it’s a very nice basic =)

Petite Polish, Fransız manikürü için düşünülmüş, şeffaf, açık pembe bir oje. İki kat sürdüğümde, tırnağıma hoş bir pembelik verdi. Eğer şeffaf durmasını sevmiyorsanız, üç-dört katta opak olacağını düşünüyorum.
Basit bir Fransız manikürü yaptım. Yüzük ve baş parmaklarımın tırnaklarında Nailene Bedazzled Superstar tırnak süslemeleri kullandım. Tırnaklarımın temiz duruşunu çok sevdim, sanırım daha fazla klasik Fransız manikürü yapmalıyım =)
Eğer güzel bir Fransız manikürü bazı arıyorsanız, ya da açık pembe şeffaf oje seviyorsanız, Petite Polish size göre. Ben şeffaf oje pek sevmiyorum, ama Petite Polish tırnağımı çok temiz gösterdi. Çok eşi bulunmaz bir oje olmasa da, çok temel, her eve lazım bir renk.

Coral Polish is a bright, bright coral, very close to red, and a little bit muted. It doesn’t contain much pink like most coral polishes, and I love it for that. Wikipedia tells me that this color is called Coral Red. The first coat is a bit sheer, but the second coat covers evenly. I used two coats here, but I could have done three.
The color is adorable. Coral is very popular this year, especially for summer. This color is chic and lady-like, but summery and flirty at the same time. I have been looking for this kind of a coral-red for the longest time, and this fulfills my need perfectly.

I compared Coral Polish to the other corals from my stash:

L-R: China Glaze Sneaker Head, China Glaze Atelier Tulle, China Glaze High Hopes and Eyeko Coral Polish.

Coral Polish is the darker and redder version of China Glaze High Hopes. Atelier Tulle is a muted coral, and the least saturated one from this bunch. Compared with Sneaker Head, Coral Polish is less pink and more orange, but they are both the darkest ones.

Although I don’t own it, I think Coral Polish in the same family with MAC Scorcher, a reddish coral. If you have seen any comparison of those both, you can post a link in the comments and I’ll put it up.
Coral Polish is my favorite from this collection. I’d say go and get it! =D

Coral Polish çok parlak bir mercan rengi, kırmızıya çok yakın ama kırmızı kadar canlı durmuyor. Diğer mercan renkleri kadar pembe içermiyor, daha turuncu ve bu yüzden bu ojeyi çok beğendim. İlk kat biraz şeffaftı, ama ikinci katta kendini toparladı. Burada iki kat sürdüm ama üçüncü bir kat sürsem daha bile güzel olurdu.
Renk bir harika. Mercan rengi bu yıl çok popüler, özellikle yaz aylarında. Bu renk hem şık ve zarif, ama bir yandan da cıvıl cıvıl bir yaz rengi. Bu tonlarda bir mercan rengini çok aramıştım, sonunda bulmuş oldum.
Coral Polish’i diğer mercan rengi ojelerimle kıyasladım. Coral Polish, China Glaze High Hopes’un koyu ve daha kırmızı ağırlıklı versiyonu. Atelier Tulle biraz solgun kalıyor, Sneaker Head ise Coral Polish kadar koyu renk olmasına rağmen daha pembe ağırlıklı.
Sahip olmasam da, Coral Polish renk olarak MAC Scorcher’ı andırıyor. Eğer bir kıyaslama resmi görürseniz, yorumlara linkini bırakın.

Hello again =) Eyeko Cosmetics offered me to send 5 polishes of their new line =) I’m going to review them & compare them with similar polishes one by one.
Today I’m going to show you Eyeko Posh Polish, for Ladylike nails.

Posh Polish is a light taupe color, but it’s a bit grayed out, so you can call this “mushroom” too. According to Wikipedia, this color looks like a Light Taupe. It was fairly easy to apply and build up. The first coat goes on a bit sheer, but I had perfectly even coverage with two coats.

Then I compared Posh Polish to the other taupes I own:

L-R: OPI You Don’t Know Jacques, Sevilla #140 (It’s said to be a Chanel Particulière dupe), Orly Prince Charming and Eyeko Posh Polish.

Eyeko is definitely the lightest of the bunch. It’s also more grayed out, like the lighter version of You Don’t Know Jacques. Prince Charming is more saturated and warmer version of You Don’t Know Jacques, and it’s darker than the Particulière dupe, which is also more saturated than Posh Polish.

I compared Posh Polish to China Glaze Channelesque, and as you can see, they’re very close. (I assure you, they look closer IRL.) Posh Polish just needs a few drops of purple to be a dupe, but it’s a very good substitute in my eyes.

These kind of colors are very big among nail polish lovers, and I suggest you to try out this one, because it’s unique and affordable, and very close to Particulière and Channelesque. If you missed out on those now-hard-to-find colors, this is a very good substitute!
I like the consistency, brush and wear of this polish, and the drying time was fast, too. Another lovely taupe for my collection =)

Bugün tanıtacağım oje, Posh Polish.
Posh Polish gri-kahve tonunun açığı, hatta zorlanırsa “mantar rengi” dedikleri kategoriye bile girebilir. Sürümü çok kolaydı, yani formülü gayet güzel. İlk kat biraz şeffaf olsa da, ikinci katta gayet düzgün bir şekilde kapattı.
Posh Polish’i elimdeki diğer gri-kahve tonlarıyla kıyasladım:
Soldan sağa: OPI You Don’t Know Jacques, Sevilla #140 (Chanel Particulière’in aynısı, #505 olarak da biliniyor), Orly Prince Charming ve Eyeko Posh Polish.
Eyeko kesinlikle aralarında en açık renk olanı. Ayrıca gri daha ağırlıklı, You Don’t Know Jacques’ın açık renkli akrabası gibi. Prince Charming biraz daha kahverengi ve daha canlı kalıyor yanında; Chanel’in ikiz kardeşi olan oje ise sanki Prince Charming’in daha açık rengi gibi.
Posh Polish’i China Glaze Channelesque ile kıyasladığım zaman şaşırdım, çünkü beklediğimden daha yakınlardı. Hatta çıplak gözle daha bile yakın duruyorlar. Posh Polish’in içine birkaç damla mor katılsa Channelesque’in aynısı olur, ama bu haliyle bile Channelesque arayanlar için iyi bir alternatif.
Bu tarz renkler bu yıllarda çok moda, bu yüzden bu ojeyi denemenizi öneririm. Hem fiyatı uygun, hem çok benzese de hiçbirinin aynısı değil, hem de herkesin çok aradığı Chanel ve China Glaze Channelesque ojelerine oldukça yakın. Eğer bu zor bulunan renkleri kaçırdıysanız, bu oje alternatif olabilir.
Ojenin yapısını, fırçasını ve dayanıklılığını beğendim, ayrıca hızlı kurumasıyla da gözüme girdi. Koleksiyonum için bir gri-kahve daha =)

How could I miss? 500 followers! Wooooooooot! Thank you, guys! I love you all!

Hi everyone =) A short while ago Eyeko Cosmetics contacted me and offered to send 3 of their newest polishes for me to try out. So yesterday I received Nude Polish, Lilac Polish and Vintage Polish along with the cutest postcard ever =) Today I tried them all on, and I must say I’m impressed with the formula. All three polishes have a formula between jelly and creme, and they all have nice brushes, so they worked well for me. Without further ado, here are the bottle pics and swatches:

Nude Polish is a pretty nude color, leaning to peach, and with a very subtle shimmer. It looks closest to Deep Peach. I loved how clean my nails looked while wearing it. The formula was decent, sheer on the first coat but evened itself out on the second. I used 3 coats for the opacity I wanted.

Lilac Polish is a lilac creme, a bit lighter than the photo suggests, and it’s a medium lilac, leaning only slightly to the warm side. It can be described as Wisteria. This one was sans shimmer, and only took me 2 coats to be opaque. I own many lilacs, but no dupe of this color.

Vintage Polish was my favorite of the bunch. The color is a bit brighter in real life, but still has a dusty quality to itself. Eyeko describes this as a jade, but to me it has more blue than jade green. The closest color description would be Aquamarine, although Vintage Polish is a bit more toned down. This is a beautiful color, it’s refreshing and springy but also vintage at the same time, as the name suggests. It took me 2 coats to be opaque, but I did 3.
Finally, I’m wearing Vintage Polish with designs from m76 in konad pastel lilac.

I’m not 100% sure about the accuracy of the colors on the pictures, so I suggest you to also look up for other swatches before buying. You can buy Eyeko polishes on www.eyeko.com.
